Last year we told you that Equitable life had entered an agreement to transfer the Society and all its policies to Reliance Life which would result in an increase to their ‘with-profits’ policies. The transfer is dependent on a vote by eligible policyholders and is subject to approval of the High Court.
We’ve now been advised that the timeline has changed and The Fund will be provided with an Investment Pack in August along with the details of the proposed benefits to members, and this means voting has been postponed to the end of 2019.
Reliance Life has now changed their name to Utmost Life. We’ll write out to our Equitable Life members when we receive final details from the AVC provider.
